## The Mission

ButterflyLab was created by an individual crypto investor who realized he didn't truly understand the technology behind the cryptocurrencies he was investing in, specifically Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). He decided to spend the next year learning everything he could about WEB3, the next generation of the internet powered by blockchain technology and its application in NFTs. He dove headfirst into contract building, frontend development and NFT creation, and began to understand the different utilities of the blockchain in digital ownership and scarcity. He saw that there was a real opportunity for a community to get involved in a WEB3 project **from the very start,** and decided to start his own WEB3 project named ButterflyLab. The goal of ButterflyLab is to empower individuals and communities to take control of their own digital assets and be a part of the decentralized future through NFTs. ButterflyLab is going to start building a community,  and making sure to listen to the needs and wants of the community.
